A very successful Youth Angling Event took place yesterday evening 16th Aug.’23 at the Disabled Anglers facility on EMAA fishery.
59 youths registered on the evening. Weather was in our favour and the children had a wonderful time. They were so enthusiastic to learn the art of fishing which was expertly demonstrated by all our volunteers. Thank you to all the parents who took the time to bring along and introduce their children to such a wonderful hobby.
We had a draw for anyone who purchased one of our Fishing Booklets, and the winner of a €25 tackle voucher for Tiernan’s in Foxford was Jacob Kenny from Brize, Claremorris. Well done Jacob. (See photo below)
